The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor

Hey, i have just finished the first book of this new series that i am writing called The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor. This book was just fa nominal and i highly recommend this series to people who like Alice in Wonderland things.

So this story was about a young princess in who has the most powerful imagination of all. It's her birthday today and she is at her party waiting for more people to arrive. When her banished Aunt Redd, comes in and crashes the party. Everyone runs and hides and the Queen of wonderland tells the Hatter to take Alyss out of wonderland to earth were she will be safe. Of course both young Alyss and the Hatter get separated and now Hatter has to find her. While Alyss is out of wonderland Redd becomes the new ruler and everyone fears her, but she still believes that Alyss is out there and must be killed. One thing that truly makes people cower whenever she's near is her imagination, which is bad, because if people were going to stop her she was going to kill them. Not much later when Redd believes that Alyss is dead she finds out that people have started a rebellion and that Alyss has returned.

This book was truly amazing and just was so good i couldn't put the book down. I truly would give this a 5 star rating since it was just that good. Remember i like reading those comments that you leave and what books you suggest for me to read.

What I Am Currently Reading

I am currently reading a book called Night Blood by Elly Blake, ans it is already getting good. This is also the last book in the series.

Review on Acend by Amanda Hocking

This book that i have just finished is called Acend by Amanda Hocking and it's the last book in the Trylle trilogy. Still i recommend this to you people who truly love the love triangle thing.

So this book was about the same main character as the last two books, Wendy, and so she gets married to her trainer in the last book Torn. What happens after she gets married is that Loki ,the new character that kidnapped her, came to her and said that they should run away and then asked her to marry him. Not soon after Wendy's mother makes a treaty with their enemies the Vittra that they cannot attack come after the princess until after Wendy's coronation. But of course the king finds a way around not killing the Princess and started to attack the other villages in the kingdom. Now time is of the essence and Wendy realizes that she is the only one who can kill the king of the Vittra, also known as her father.

This book was just amazing and the ending was just spectacular and deserves a solid 5 star. Rember that i love getting book recommendations and the comments that you guys leave.

Torn by Amanda Hocking Review

I have just finished a great book called Torn by Amanda Hocking. This book truly brought out some fun twists and new characters.

In this book Wendy gets taken to the Vittra, her rivaling enemies, and finds a handsome bodyguard named Loki, but soon after she finds out that she needs to leave or someone she loves might die. When she gets home her mother is more busy than every since she must find a way to make peace until after Wendy's coronation, and plan a party for a marriage which needs to be announced. Even though Wendy must marry her trainer for protection her heart is with somebody else.

This story was just by far a great book and i would totally recommend this to people who love a good love triangle, but this time there is different characters in it, and lots of drama. I personally would give this a true 5 star rating just like the last book. Also, i like to read those comments that you leave for me also if there are any good books that you would like me to read let me know.

Review on Switched by Amanda Hocking

I have just finished another book called Switched by Amanda Hocking's it was just a UN-put-down- able book, i just loved it. I highly recommend this book for all love triangle fans.

This book was about a girl who is a changeling, meaning she was switched at birth with another person. She has these powers that can persuade people to do whatever she wants, but not that much later a guy named Finn says that he has been watching over her, and it is time to return home. Of course her home is the palace since she is a princess, her mother though seems to be not so happy with her, from what she sees. When she gets back everything is fine and all she has to do is learn everything about the new world that she lives in, and it has to happen before her christening. But during that party an attack is sent to the castle and she must do what she can to stay alive.

The book was just a great book and i just loved the ending that it had. I personaly would give this a 5 star rating since it was just fa-nominal.

Review Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink

Hey guys i have just finished a great book called Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink. This book is also the first book in the sisters trilogy. This book was just outstanding and i can't wait to read the next book.

This story is a fantasy about a girl named Lia and she is the older twin between her and her sister. She soon finds out that the tattoo on her arm is part of a prophecy that she and her sister hold. So, soon the sisters get into a disagreement of whether or not to let the devil in and when that happens Alice, the younger twin, start doing things that can get Lia killed. Their father who had died at the beginning of the book left them a list of names which both girls are after, but neither of them can find it. Not much later Lia gets a little visit from the devil himself, he says that if she doesn't let him into the human world everything will be destructed, obviously its the other way around, after that she knows she must find that list fast because of his push to get in. Soon Alice goes a little to far with her threats and someone dies from it, of course Alice says "I didn't mean to!" while everyone is crying.

The book was just so great that i couldn't put it down, but honestly i would give it a true 4 stars. It wasnt perfect but it was just a great book, just a little reminder that it will take me a little longer than usual to finish these also i love reading those comments you leave and if you have any book suggestions let me know and i will get to them soon.

Reviewing Not if i save you First By Ally Carter

Hey guys i just finished and amazing book by Ally Carter called Not If I Save You First. It was just the best book and i just couldn't put it down, but i did have to put it down because of school.

This book was just a great book to read from all the suspense and is she gonna do it? It was about a girl named Maddie who's father works for the president of the United States, and has a mission to protect his son, Logan. Logan and Maddie were best friends and one day something bad happened with a peace treaty between the U.S. and another country. So after that Maddie and her father were sent to a secret location and had to stay quiet for a couple of years. But not soon after Maddie's father has a mission and Maddie is forced to help look after the person she hates the most, Logan. While Logan was out in the woods he gets a not so friendly greeting from a not so friendly person who wants to kill him, and know Maddie has to save him, but has a very bad incident that happens.

I believe that the best part of this book was the dramatic suspense of both the characters and the saving the day. For example, when Maddie tries to go after him and talk to the not so friendly person and gets horribly wounded and still goes after Logan even though she hates him so much. I would personal give this a true 4 1/2. Also i love reading comments that you guys leave also if you read a really great book please let me know. It will take me a little longer than usual because of school but i will try to read as fast as i can.

Review for Spelled by Betsy Schow

I have just finished a book called Spelled by Betsy Shcow which was just unbelievable even for a Wizard of Oz type of book.

This was the type of book that just kept you going, it just made you want to finish it faster. Spelled was about a girl named Dorthea who is getting forced to marry somebody she doesn't love, but she is jealous of all the other fairy tales getting there happily ever after. so when one wish takes a turn everything becomes ruined. She wants to fix it, but a witch who wants to keep it like this forver tries going after her to stop it. Dorthea heads out with a couple of people in the book to stop this from happening but there differences make things harder as they also run into some not known characters from different realms

The best part of this book is when Dorthea finally understands how mush the people around her care for her, and not because they had to but because they were friends. For example Her fiance came with her and she doesn't like him until the end where he would give up his own features just to be with her. I personally really like this book and would give it a solid 4 stars, even though it wasn't my favorite i still like it.

Keeper of the Bees by Meg Kassel

Hey, everyone i have just finished reading a book called Keeper of the Bees by Meg Kassel who sent this to me as an early copy.

This story just really made me feel the emotions of the characters, and if you have read Black Bird of the Gallows Which i have posted about in on of my reviews you will see a couple of characters that show up in this book. So this book was about a beekeeper named Dresden who has come following the the harbingers of death, who goes to were a disaster might hit. There he meets a girl who is cursed with a curse that runs in the family causing them to be a little delusional. But when you see a beekeeper you cant see there features but this delusional girls sees something that no other person can, but even though they cant be together, they still want to.

My favorite part of this book was how the two main characters kept coming back to the same problem over and over again for being together. For example, Dresden waited and watched from a tree two houses down from her house to make sure she was safe. I would rec emend this book to anyone who loves a good love intrest. Which the suspense of whats going to happen to both of them, but over all this book was truly an amazing book like Meg Kassel's other books and is a true 5 star book, i just couldn't put it down.

Mother Knows Best By Serena Valentino review

Written by Serena Valentino

Hey I have finished a book called Mother Knows Best and this is the fifth book on her series. I know it has been some time but I had forgotten to post this one while I was reading another book.

This book was about Mother Gothel and three other witch's who are in every book in the series. It showed what her life was like when she was young, with her sisters and her very distant mother, but when Gothel was about to take on a tradition from her mother she accidently does something to make her mother want revenge. Then the revenge comes and Gothel' sisters face a tragedy, but I don't want to spoil it for you. This event causes her to leave her home and start a new life, soon after a flower that you probably know comes into play, and thievery drives Gothel mad and out for revenge.

I believe that this book was a really great book, my favorite part is the same thing in her series and that's how she added more characters in, it really added more suspense into what's happening in different places. For example, Gothel would be with Rapunzel in her tower and be like telling her stay in the tower its safer than the outdoors and through a mirror in the realm of dreams you have the three witches using they're magic to try and ruin the story, while also getting punished. This book though was truly a book you would love if you love Disney and back stories, and I would give this book a solid 4 1/2 stars.

Sea Witch by Sarah Henning review

I have just finished an amazing book that truly blew my mind away, a book called Sea Witch by Sarah Henning. It truly is my new all time favorite and I just loved how this book was laid out.

The book takes place in the Kingdom of Havnested where the main character of the book, Evie, is on a boat party  when a natural disaster occurs. Of course, four years before, Evie sadly lost her best friend to the sea. But when the boat suddenly tips over and the prince falls into the sea and then a girl is spotted that looks exactly like her friend, the friend she thought she lost saves him people start to think she's not dead even though this new girl says "I'm not her".  But when Evie finds a secret about her she must do whatever she can to save her and hopefully, not get herself killed too.

Now I don't want to spoil the book but just a reminder this explains how she became the person at the end of the book, and then you will realize what I meant.

The best part that really stood out was how the character really felt alive, like you could feel and see what they were like. For example, when Evie sees that her the girl that looks like her friend she starts to feel as if she isn't dead after all, and I believe that the reader will feel her emotion too. The author just put so much detail into her book that you just felt as if you were standing there with them.

I just would recommend this book to people who love the brothers grim side of the little mermaid. I am giving this book a five star review.

Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel

I finally got a chance to read an amazing book called Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel, who
is a Rita Nominee, and is just an amazing author. This book was so incredible that I could not put it down.

The book is about a girl named Angie, who has a crush on her neighbor, but they could never be together for certain reasons, which I do not want to spoil for you. But he is different from everybody at their school, and is fitting in fine and all but he has a big secret that nobody can know about. Angie has a major crush on him not just because he is athletic or tall, but he just didn't seem real. But when Angie is playing her double life as a DJ, bad thing are starting to happen in the small town of Cadence where she lives with her father. But when her neighbor spills his secret to her, she must do everything she can to survive, but still try to stop him from doing something so bad she could even die.

This book was better than I thought it was going to turn out, because I read the first few chapters and just was about ready to put the book back on the shelf and grab a different one. But as I read more I couldn't stop turning the pages. I believe that if this book was turned into a movie it deserves an incredible action scene with music, but of course not all dreams come true. Over all I would give it a pretty good rating. This is truly a 4 1/2 star book!

Fireblood Review

Hello everyone, I just finished a book called Fireblood by Elly Blake. Sorry it took so long to get
back to you guys but I had a summer camp last week. But I managed to finish it before I left camp.  So this is the second book in the Frostblood series, Ruby is still the main character but there are new people to come in. At the beginning Ruby goes to a ball for the new king Arcus of the frostbloods, but remember that Ruby is a fireblood, so they don't get along very well. At the ball she meets another fireblood name Kai who is a prince in the fireblood islands, and has come to take her back to those islands in order of they're queen, Queen Nalani, who believed that Ruby was her niece, but she had to be sure of it first.

I don't want to give away a lot about this, but let me tell you, this story was exciting.

There are a couple of things I loved about this book. One of the biggest is the level of action that the author puts into this book. A great example is when the author has really big emotional moments, such as kisses between Ruby and Kai and then the author throws in a real curve ball and the reader is suddenly wanting to know more.

I also liked the fact that she really makes the characters feel alive in the book. Too often I read a story where the characters seem really fake. I especially liked the fact that she created a situation where two people loved one girl and you really didn't know until the end, who she would end up with.

I would honestly give this book 4 1/2 stars and would really recommend this to anyone...

I'll let you know once I get a chance to read this!

Frostblood Review

As I said I would see how fast I could finish that book and I did. The book Frostblood by Elly Blake was a really amazing book that truly makes you want to keep reading. I was about a girl named Ruby who has fire powers, she and her mother lived in a cottage far away from the village and in the very beginning Ruby gets caught by the frost Kings guards and they kill her mom. After they kill her mom she gets taken to a prison where she is to just stay there and rot away like all the other prisoners. But not long after to guys come along and they find Ruby, they are known as frostbloods, firebloods enemy's and they take her to an abbey to heal and train her. They keep her at the abbey for safety so that when the time comes for the plan to go into action that she will be ready. But one day she was out practicing with one of those guys , because the other one was out looking for a person who was trying to give information to the frost king, and what happened was these soldiers came riding up and tried to capture her. But when she tried to escape through the tunnels under the abbey they caught her and brought her to the king. After the king saw her he said that he would put her in the beasts den and if she survived she would gain some trust from him. So he put her in the den and she killed the beast, and he was angry with her because it took him fourteen men just to get the creature. After his little tantrum the king put her in his arena to try and kill her, apparently no fireblood has ever made it out alive, but she did and she also killed the hardest champion and she became the new champion. The king trusted her so much he wanted her to gain all the power from so weird curse on his throne and she did, at the end of the book. But before she did that she was put into the arena again to go against someone who had gone into the abbey and killed lots of people. Instead of that guy she found one of the guys his name is Arcus and she is in love with him, and so she is now supposed to fight him and its a fight to the death, nobody dies but Arcus says he is actually the true king to the throne and its true. So when he is distracting the crowd she sneaks away and goes to destroy the throne but before she does that the king finds her and she takes all the magic from the throne and Arcus tries to save her because the king froze her. she breaks out and destroys both the throne and the king. Soon after its the day of the coronation and Ruby is not allowed to go because she is sick and Arcus comes in and they have a friendly little chat and the very last thing he says "When it comes to you, I like to be burned." and those are the very last words of the book. This is a book I highly recommend to those who love a little impossible romance and a little battle. Do remember I love to hear comments from you of authors that you think I should read. I will get back to you on those books, but please if you want to recommend a book please do and have a great day.

What I'm Reading Now

So right now I am reading the book Frostblood by Elly Blake. This story is about a girl who has fire powers and her mother is dead in like the first chapter, and right after her mother has died she gets taken to this prison. In which she is treated poorly, and by doing so she become really weak cause they dump ice cold water onto her head. not soon after though she get rescued by a two guys and one of them has ice powers and they get of the prison and heal her at some church. But not long after guards are searching every village trying to find her. While the guards are doing that she trains with the Frostblood because he has some sort of mission to kill the king of the Frostblood who is making all the Firebloods stay hidden either on an island where most of them are or they could stay and try to live a normal life near the Frostblood. I haven't finished the book yet so I will let you guys know how it ends, this book does have another book in its series its called Fireblood and its just probably going to be like the same way it was in this book. Now I love hearing comments from you guys so if you want me to read a book please feel free to leave a book title or just an author, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Books I Have Been Reading And Have Liked

I have read so many books these last few years that I really just liked. Most of the books are about magic and races to a great big goal. So a couple of examples of these books are the Falling Kingdoms series by Morgan Rhodes, this series is just a great suspense kind of book. So in the book there are these three guys that like one girl and you are probably thinking "Who is she going to pick?" when really later in the book something happens, but I am not going to spoil that for you.

Another book I really liked, back in elementary school was called Eight Keys by--- is a great book to just sit at home and read when you are bored. Its about this girl who has this friend who is a guy, and when they went back to school she got bullied because of that. But when the girl goes into her uncles barn she finds a key. She doesn't want to steal it so she doesn't take it, but later in the book she finds eight doors in her attic, with things from her family inside.

One of the series that I have loved was by Amanda Hocking the Kanin Chronicles. It only has three books but they are pretty amazing. Its about a girl named Bryn who is a tracker and is trying to protect this boy so she can get him back to his true family in a very troll like area. But when she is announced a very high rank that she cant back down from, she finds herself in love with her trainer and a world known thief that tried to kill her father. Picking the wrong side may get herself killed, but letting her friends down could be even worse. She may try hard but we all know she needs to take a break from getting hurt, and needs to gain trust from those who know her. Even her own father cant trust her, for she has now become a wanted person.

Getting away from drama is so hard but if you want to find some you just go to Canterwood Crest, a pristine riding stable and school. With Sasha a the new girl and a fine jumper, who could get in her way of a great year. Nobody except the trio, with there leader Heather. Heather just wants to ruin Sasha's life, but when she finds out Sasha's secret admirer, she can use that to her advantage. But things don't go to as planned when Sasha finds a guy named Erik who rides also, Heather cant do anything but watch. So she turns to her trio for advise, but when a secret blogger starts to spill secrets about everybody, and Heather cant even trust her own roommates and turns to Sasha instead.

Disney Always has a secret, a secret tunnel, mickey, or maybe one you cant fight. The Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Person is an amazing way to find a little more about Disney. When an audition to become a new DHI Daylight Holographic Imaging, Finn Whitman realizes that he is in the Disney world park after closing, with other teens his age who also auditioned. They soon realize that all the characters come to life after closing hours, including the villains who want to over take Disney by taking Walt Pen. So the Kingdom Keepers go to the parks every night to try and stop them, but soon after they graduate they realize that villains have to be destroyed, for good this time. But when something happens to Finn in the second series, the kingdom keepers have no choice but to go back home and lose what's really important.

As more books go by you tend to want something better than the last book, but also want to keep it the same. Getting out of a comfort zone is hard, but when you finish thee book all you want is for it to keep going. Like me I want to have a series that you know can last forever. But most things have to come to an end. Unless the series never ended, they all have a happy ending, except for those murder mystery books. A good book with a good ending is good.
