Review on From the Earth to the Shadows by Amanda Hockings
Hey everyone i have just finished a great book by Amanda Hocking's and it was truly amazing. This book is in a series and it was called From the Earth to the Shadows and i loved it so much it is my favorite Amanda Hockings books that i have read so far. She just makes all her books truly great with amazing cliff hangers.
So this book was the second book in a series, and was adding on to the first one where Asher has just been kidnapped and Odin is trying to do something that gets explained at the end of the first book. After Odin sends Malin on a journey to get a cloak that helps you go unseen in certain places. She finds it and when she gets back Odin sends her on another mission into the underworld sorta place, to retrieve a spear, Gungnir, that his son Baldar has taken from him. This spear can kill any living god, and Odin needs it for the final battle. So while in the Underworld place Malin runs into Asher who is possessed by another god who has a really weird and believes that everyone wants to be free and the only way that it can happen is if she kills everyone, to make the world whole again. She really just wants to kill everyone. She saves him and brings her back to the normal world and can finally finish her mission of course at the meeting spot where she is supposed to meet Odin, but Odin isn't there, he has gone missing. Not much later everything starts going wack and going crazy, they then find out that the god that drained and possessed Asher had gotten out of the underworld and now wants to kill everyone. Don't want to spoil the book for you so i am not going to tell you the ending.
This book truly deserves a 5 star rating, and was just truly amazing and i totally recommend this book to anyone who loves Blade Runner or Game of Thrones. Remember i love looking and reading your comments and if you have any good books that you think i should read please let me know.
